Bemeria is an ornamental houseplant belonging to the nettle family (another name is false nettle). In total there are more than one hundred species of these plants. The name of the plant was in honor of the German scientist George Bomer. This is a small shrub, however, among the representatives of this species there are also rather large specimens (up to 5 meters in height), which resemble mini trees. The stems resemble the appearance of tree trunks due to the presence of brown bark below, indicating a dense structure of the stem. This plant can be found almost everywhere where there is a tropical and subtropical climate. Mexico is considered the birthplace of this plant.

In the room, as a rule, this plant does not contain, it is usually used as a decorative ornament near the residential premises or in the alleys and parks.She is loved by decorators and designers, because this plant fits perfectly into almost any interior. They were then all called fabrics from the "Chinese nettle." In the Netherlands, these expensive fabrics were brought from the island of Java, which were called cambist in France. The Dutch industry also produced a variety of materials, the raw materials for which were exactly bemeria fibers.
  8. In the Soviet Union, they attempted to cultivate wounds for such use, but the results were negative. In Tsarist Russia, Bemeriya Belotsvetkovaya was cultivated everywhere.
