How to boil white linen

Salt
For the most part, saline is used to whiten grayed or yellowed products.

1. Soak things directly before boiling. To prepare the solution, pour 5 liters of water into the basin, add 1 kg. salt, leave underwear for 1.5 hours.
2. Pour the liquid into the enameled container, move things, put on the stove.
3. Boil over medium heat for half an hour.
4. After the expiration date, cool at room temperature and wring out thoroughly, trying not to damage the shape of the product and the structure of the fabric.

Potassium permanganate
Contrary to the fact that the composition has a characteristic crimson hue, manganese perfectly bleaches the laundry. Pre-soak things are not required, you can immediately proceed to the preparation of a solution for boiling.

1. Dissolve 3-4 manganese crystals in a saucepan / bucket with cold water. Do not overdo it, the composition should turn pale pink.
2. Thoroughly mix the solution, add detergent in the amount of 70 g. on 1 liter of water. Wait for the granules to dissolve.
3. Put things into the container, do not ram much. Boil the products for no longer than 45 minutes, then turn off the stove and immediately remove the laundry.
4. Carry out a hand or machine wash, hang out to dry on the balcony, avoiding the direct rays of the sun.

Chlorine
The method is considered to be the most effective, chlorine-containing preparations return the former whiteness to laundry, eliminating the gray or yellow tint.The method is only suitable for cotton products, we analyze actions step by step.

1. Prepare an enameled container, inside which there is no rust or scurf, otherwise you will ruin the laundry.
2. Pour cold water into the pot. Add powder and bleach in equal proportions (40 grams of each component are per 1 liter of water).
3. Put on the stove, boil clothes for 35-60 minutes. Periodically stir the product with a wooden spatula or special tweaks.
4. After the procedure, remove the laundry, rinse it and hang it to dry in fresh air. Avoid direct sunlight, because of them spots are formed on white things.

Hydrogen peroxide
The peroxide solution acts like salt. The composition bleaches grayed and yellowed things.

1. Type in a basin of 5 liters of cold water, pour in 125 ml. hydrogen peroxide concentration of 3-6%.
2. Put into the laundry, cover the container with a bag or film, soak for 1-1.5 hours (for the first time it is better to choose the minimum exposure time).
3. Pour the solution together with the linen in a saucepan, put it on the stove, boil for 30-45 minutes.

You can also replace the peroxide with hydroperit, the drug is available in tablets. To prepare a solution using this tool, dilute the composition at the rate of 1.5 tablets of hibroperit per 1 liter of water. The procedure for soaking and subsequent boiling is identical.

Soda
In order to effectively whiten the products of white color, it is enough to use the means that are in the arsenal of any hostess.

1. Prepare a solution for soaking. Pour 450 grams. soda in a basin with 6 liters of cold water, mix the composition to dissolve the granules.
2. Soak the laundry, wrap the container with polyethylene or food wrap, leave to soak for 45 minutes.
3. Take the soap of maximum concentration (72%), rub them stains or process the whole thing. The laundry should be painted in a characteristic brown color, so you will understand that there is enough soap. Next, fill things with boiling water.
4. Rub on a grater half of the soap bar, add to the enameled container. Pour the composition for soaking, move the laundry. Boil for 40-50 minutes, then turn off the stove and leave for 3 hours.
5. At the end of time, stretch things manually or use a typewriter to turn on intensive mode.

Boric acid
The tool copes with the bleaching of everyday wear, because it is gentle in comparison with other technologies. An important feature of boric acid is considered to be an effective fight against fungus.

1. To prepare the solution, dilute 110 ml. boric acid 4 liters of water, add 100 ml. lemon juice.
2. Put things in a bowl with the composition, leave to soak for 40-60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Pour the laundry solution into an enamel pan, boil for at least 1 hour.
4. After boiling, wash the products with your hands or use a typewriter. Dry only in the open air away from ultraviolet radiation.

Practical recommendations

1. Do not boil colored clothes, it will shed and acquire an incomprehensible color.
2. It is allowed to boil very light-colored jeans, in this case the exposure time should not exceed 45 minutes.
3. You can boil things for the smallest ones, the question becomes especially relevant during the navel healing period. In this case, the procedure time is 20 minutes, and the solution is prepared on the basis of baby soap.
