As a rule, the composition is prepared on the basis of sugar syrup, starch, gelatin, citric acid. Experienced housewives through trial and error brought out the most delicious recipes. You can easily translate technology into reality, having pleased the children. Like any other matter, the preparation of chewing gum has its own characteristics that must be considered. Consider the important aspects in order.

 How to make a cud

Chewing gum: a classic recipe

  • drinking water - 100 ml.
  • granulated sugar - 240 gr.
  • lemon - 1.5 pcs.
  • flavoring - to choose
  • corn starch - 20 gr.
  • fruit juice (any) - 120 ml.
  • edible gelatin - 25 gr.
  1. Cook the sugar syrup.To do this, take an enamel pan, pour 100 ml into it. clean water, add sugar. Put on a slow fire, boil until the granules completely dissolve. Once this happens, turn off the stove. In the end, you should get about 270 ml. sugar syrup.
  2. Pour any fruit juice into a glass, put in a microwave on the edge of a rotating plate, heat well (about 30 seconds). After the drink becomes hot, start slowly pouring gelatin into it, stirring constantly. Leave the gelatin until full swelling, as a rule, it takes about half an hour.
  3. Heat sugar syrup to 50 degrees (if it is cold), add swollen gelatin and cornstarch, knead to a smooth consistency.
  4. At this stage, you can pour any flavor. In its role can act cinnamon, vanilla sugar, zest of citrus fruits. Also, flavors are sold in the spice department, choose the taste at your discretion. Also at this stage you can add food coloring, which is released in packs of 5 grams.
  5. Stir the mixture, wipe through a fine sieve or gauze folded in 3 layers.Pour the mass into forms for sweets or baking, send in the refrigerator until the final preparation. To frost gum, you need about 7 hours.

Chewing gum from the "gum base"

  • powdered sugar - 40 gr.
  • food coloring - at discretion
  • flavored additive - at discretion
  • honey or maple syrup - 25 gr.
  • chewing mass ("gum base") - 35 gr.

  1. Send the chewing base in an enamel saucepan, put it on the stove and heat it up. Do not forget to interfere, collect the composition from the walls of the container, otherwise the base will burn. If desired, you can melt the gum base in the microwave by placing it in a dish and placing it on the edge of a rotating dish.
  2. Do not remove the mass from the fire, reduce the burner to medium power, pour in the maple syrup (or any other), again mix with a wooden spatula.
  3. Pour 20 gr. powdered sugar, flavored additive and food coloring (at the discretion of the last two components). As an additive can be lemon peel, cinnamon, grated through a sieve raisins or dried apricots, vanillin.
  4. The remaining 20 grams. Spread the powdered sugar on a flat dry surface (kitchen table), place the warmed base on it, and gently roll the compound in the powder with a spatula.
  5. After the future gum has cooled, knead the “dough” out of it, roll the sausage and cut it into thin slices. Roll the circles or squares, send in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Corn syrup chewing gum

  • corn syrup - 25 ml.
  • base for chewing gum - 30 gr.
  • corn starch - 45 gr.
  • flavoring additive - to the discretion
  • food coloring - 2 gr.
  1. Before preparing the chewing gum, take the base and heat it in the microwave. The procedure should be carried out until the base is softened (about 1.5-2 minutes on average power).
  2. When the base is ready to work, add corn syrup, knead the mixture until smooth. After that, scatter the starch on a dry and flat surface, place a base with syrup on it.
  3. Crush the composition with your hands until it becomes elastic and viscous. The mixture should be smooth, plastic, at this point you can pour food coloring and flavoring flavors.
  4. Put on gloves, knead the gum again, make various figures, hearts, pads, stars, etc. out of it.Put on a flat surface, place in the refrigerator for several hours.

Berry Chewing Gum

 Berry Chewing Gum

  • melt water - 125 ml.
  • gelatin in the plates - 1 pc.
  • cane sugar - 55 g.
  • cool boiling water - 475 ml.
  • Seasonal berries (any) - 4.5 kg.
  1. Wash the berries, remove the stems, leaves, hard parts and bones. Slice or mince / blender, move to pan. Fill with boiling water, leave for 2 hours.
  2. Put the contents on the stove, set the minimum mark on the hob, bring the mass to a boil. Tomite in this state about 25-30 minutes. When the berries are boiled out, pour out the syrup (liquid, compote), drink it or pour it, it will not be needed.
  3. Add sugar (preferably cane) to the berry meal, boil until the granules dissolve and the mixture has full thickness. As soon as the berry mass becomes viscous, add edible gelatin (first dissolve it in water and bring to swelling).
  4. Stir the composition. Take a wooden kitchen board, brush it with sunflower oil, place it on a flat surface, let it harden.The exposure time is about 3 hours, not more.

How to make gummies

Chewing marmalade is all the same gum. The difference is that marmalade includes natural ingredients. As a rule, a treat is prepared for children.

  • green apple - 2 pcs.
  • red apple - 1 pc.
  • pear - 1 pc.
  • granulated sugar - 80 gr.
  • drinking water - 100 ml.

  1. Wash fruits, dry them, remove the stalk, core, twigs. Chop the apples and pears into small pieces, send in a blender or meat grinder until you get mashed potatoes.
  2. Send the fruit in an enamel saucepan, add sugar, pour in water, mix. Put on the stove, cook for about 1 hour, in some cases less. It is important that the mass was very thick.
  3. After the specified period the composition is caramelized, you need to cool it. Next, take a wooden kitchen board, grease it with olive oil, put a plastic mass in an even layer.
  4. Put the marmalade in a warm place, leave until fully cured. After that, cut the finished product into thin plates, submit to use.

It is easy to prepare chewing gum at home, if you have sufficient knowledge with regards to the available technologies. Consider a classic recipe based on fruit juice and lemon; make a cud from “gum base”, seasonal berries, corn syrup or maple syrup. Prepare gummies based on apples and pears.
