How to make jam from rose petals

Rose jam is very popular among Russians. Thanks to the beneficial substances contained in the treat, most ailments can be cured. The treat is often used as a confectionery filling and is used with tea.

 Rose petal jam

Classic rose jam recipe

  • rose petals (optional) - 320 g.
  • filtered water - 1.4 l.
  • sugar - 635 gr.
  1. Remove the petals from the rosebuds, cut off the white edge and possible dry elements. Rinse the product, dry with a towel.
  2. Take a metal bowl, grind in it rose petals and 100 grams. sugar sand.The resulting sweet liquid is drained into a small container.
  3. Boil water in a separate saucepan, add leftover sugar. Boil the composition for 2-3 minutes. Remove the container from the stove, cool the contents in natural conditions.
  4. Send the petals in a separate heat-resistant container, fill them with ready-made syrup. Turn on the stove to a maximum, wait for boiling. Next, the burner should be reduced to a minimum.
  5. Boil a treat 5-7 minutes. Constantly mix the contents, remove the resulting foam. After a while, pour in fresh pink juice.
  6. Mix the ingredients again, wean the product on a minimum heat of about 15-20 minutes, the composition should thicken a little. After that, the jam is rolled in the usual way.

Rose petal jam with honey and nuts

  • floral honey - 95 ml.
  • tea rose (petals) - 175 gr.
  • nuts (assorted) - 65 gr.
  • hot water - 200 ml.

  1. If necessary, peel the nuts and send to a coffee grinder. Crush the product into a crumb. Prepare the rose petals, reassemble and rinse. Then wipe and remove moisture.
  2. Put the saucepan on the stove, add rose petals, pour in hot water. Boil the product for at least 20-25 minutes.Remove the pan with the contents to the side, leave to infuse for 20-22 hours.
  3. After a specified time, mix the honey with petals. Re-send the pink product to the hob, boil until a smooth syrup.
  4. For 3-4 minutes to complete cooking, add chopped assorted nuts. Pour into glass containers, roll up. Store in a suitable place.

Rose jam with strawberries

  • rose petals (fragrant) - 170 gr.
  • sugar sand - 420 gr.
  • purified water - 260 ml.
  • ripe strawberry - 110 gr.
  • citric acid - 7 gr.
  1. When buying strawberries try to choose small fragrant berries. Remove the sepals, wash the fruit in a colander with running water. Wait until the strawberries have dried, move it to the saucepan with enamel coating.
  2. Add to the berries 150 gr. sugar, mix the ingredients thoroughly. Leave the contents of the pan for 6-8 hours. For the allotted time, strawberry juice will stand out and sugar will dissolve. The result is a sweet syrup.
  3. In the interval of free time, sterilize the jars and metal lids using the classical technology. Treat the petals of roses, get rid of the wilted and dried copies. Rinse the product, then let it drip away.
  4. Place the rose petals on a small plate. Powder 4 c. citric acid. Grind the components, leave for 15-20 minutes. Use a clean metal pan, pour into it drinking water and the remaining sugar.
  5. Boil the mixture over medium heat until the particles are dissolved. As a result, you get a sweet syrup. Set the contents aside, add the rest of citric acid, mix well the hot mass.
  6. Place the rose petals and sugar-soaked berries on the last composition. Send the food to the stove, boil the mixture for 7 minutes after the first bubbles appear. After the expiration date, remove the components to the side until they cool down completely.
  7. Re-boil the sweet mass as described above. Do the manipulation a total of 4-5 times. Make sure that the strawberries remain whole. As soon as the composition has cooled completely, roll it in the usual way.

  1. Divide the rosebuds, sort the leaves and rinse under the tap. Next, the product must be dried. Cut off the white base on the petals.
  2. Put the rose in a suitable dry jar. Spread the petals layer by layer, alternating them with sugar.
  3. Thoroughly hammer in the tank, if necessary, use the tolkushka. As a result of the manipulation, the juice should stand out.
  4. Close the container nylon, put in the fridge. After a day, the delicacy will be ready for use.

Pink jam with tangerines in the slow cooker

  • water - 275 ml.
  • powdered sugar - 465 gr.
  • large tangerines - 3 pcs.
  • fragrant roses (petals) - 245 gr.
  1. Rinse the pink petals, cut off the white part and possible sluggish or dry edges. Remove the peel from the mandarins, remove the bones if necessary.
  2. Add prepared food and filtered water to the food processor. Recycle components until smooth. Send the mixture to the multi bowl.
  3. Set the program “Cooking” on the multicooker, set the duration of lingering about 15-20 minutes. Manipulate with the lid open.
  4. After a certain time, start gradually adding powdered sugar. Achieve uniformity of composition. Repeat the cooking manipulation for 40 minutes. Next roll up the product.

Rose jam with wild rose leaves

  • sugar sand - 1.3 kg.
  • citric acid - 3 gr.
  • rosehip petals (flowers) - 240 gr.
  • tea rose (petals) - 420 gr.
  • water - 225 ml.
  1. Transfer the prepared plant petals to the ceramic container, add 300 gr. Sahara. Lightly grind food, set aside for 1.5-2 hours.
  2. After a few hours, sprinkle the components with lemon acid, mix again. Allow ingredients to infuse for 5-6 hours.
  3. Next, proceed to cooking syrup. Pour water into the saucepan, pour in the remaining sand. Wait for food to boil, reduce heat, simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Do not forget to mix the composition. Once the petals are infused, add them with the juice to the saucepan with the hot syrup.
  5. Boil delicacy about half an hour. Roll up treats in containers that have undergone heat treatment. After cooling, keep the pink jam in the cold.

  1. If necessary, rinse the petals with running water, dry on a towel. Send the pot to the fire, pour in water and mix in the sand.Wait for it to boil, immerse the rose petals.
  2. Re-wait for bubbles, turn off the stove, leave the product overnight. After a while, boil again the composition, if necessary, remove the formed raid.
  3. Tomite sweet mass on medium heat for 25-35 minutes. Mix components systematically. As soon as the liquid acquires a thick consistency, you should pour in lemon fresh juice.
  4. Boil the treat for a few minutes, roll it up using the classic technology. Store in a room with a temperature below room temperature.
