Method number 1. Means for stretching shoes

In the stores of leather goods and shoes, you can purchase a special composition designed for such purposes. In some cases, the tool is used to eliminate friction while wearing a new shoe.

The technology of using products of this kind is sufficiently transparent: spray the composition on the leg area inside and out, put on, fasten the zipper. Start doing household chores, wait for the moment until the shoes are completely dry. The method is good because the tool perfectly stretches the boots of both genuine leather and a substitute.

The most popular means is considered to be the products of the company "Kiwi", "Twist", "Salamander", "Salton". The listed manufacturers produce products in the form of gels, sprays, foams. Choose the form of release on your own, they are all equally effective.

The peculiarity of stretching varnish or suede shoes is the fact that the composition must be applied exclusively from the inside. Otherwise, spots, cracks and streaks form on the surface of the product. The procedure can be repeated until you achieve the desired result.

Method number 2. Castor oil

Many use castor oil to soften hardened skin, but not everyone knows that this product can be used as a stretcher.

You can increase the ankle as follows: pour castor oil into a ceramic or glass bowl, heat it in a microwave to a temperature of 45-50 degrees. Wash and dry your shoes, moisten a foam sponge in oil and work on the boots from the outside and the inside.

Wear knitted knee socks, leggings or thick high socks, button up your boots, walk in them for about 3 hours. After the expiration date, without removing the shoes, again walk on the surface with a sponge dipped in oil. The duration of exposure depends on how much you need to stretch the tops.

After all the manipulations, spread out, stuff your boots with a cloth or newspapers, leave to dry completely. After the expiration date, wipe the outer side with a flannel cloth, if necessary, stretch it again.

Keep your boots in the freezer for about 5 hours after solidification, then remove and leave at room temperature for 3 hours. After that, fill the tops of newspapers, wait until the final drying. Complete the manipulations by treating the shoe with cream, in case of insufficient result, stretch it again.

Method number 4. Newspapers

As mentioned earlier, the tops of leather shoes stretch quite easily. Natural materials are elastic, but you should not exert maximum effort not to damage the product. An excellent option for stretching is considered to be the use of paper or rags as stuffing.

How to stretch the boot boot with a newspaper

To properly carry out the procedure, take the old rags or newspapers, crumple the material into a ball, then tamp the bootleg. Moisten shoes with water (temperature 40 degrees), leave to dry at room temperature. In no case do not dry boots on radiators, otherwise they will lose their shape and will be covered with mounds.

After 2-3 days, your shoes are completely dry, you just have to pull out the padding and evaluate the result. In case the boot is not stretched enough, repeat the procedure, but this time put more newspapers. Complete the stretching with a nourishing cream to fix the result.

Method number 5. Iron

The technology of stretching is designed for medium or thick skin. Do not treat in this way lacquer shoes, lycra products or too thin leather. For the procedure you will need cotton or gauze fabric and iron. If possible, involve an assistant in stretching, because the procedure is best performed by two people.

Install an ironing board, unbutton your boot and put it lightning up. Heat the iron, moisten the cloth with filtered (!) Water and place it on the inside of the boots on the lower leg area. Without sparing the steam, start ironing the product, and make sure that no liquid flows from the iron. It is important to remember forever: it is necessary to pour only drinking water into the iron. It does not contain impurities and heavy metals, so it will not leave streaks.

When you moisten the skin of your boots hard enough, put the iron down, then begin to stretch the ankle in different directions.Try to perform the procedure smoothly and evenly without jerking. In order not to overdo the stretch, after steaming, measure the index of the lower leg, then pull the skin to the desired mark.

After processing, fasten the boot, tamp it with a cloth or paper, leave to dry at room temperature. The newspaper needs to be tamped tightly, otherwise the skin will sit down. If you wish, you can replace the paper with a wooden block that needs size. The duration of drying after a similar procedure is approximately equal to 2-3 days.

Method number 6. Bottle and pencils

Pick up a glass bottle that will be the same size as the tops. Moisten the boot in hot water, insert a container into it, fasten the zipper. Now pour hot water into the jar, prepare pencils for drawing. Insert one stationery tool in the gap between the bottle and the wall of the shoe. Take the second pencil, do the same. Repeat until no space is left to insert the pencils.

After that, leave the shoes to dry at room temperature away from radiators. For the product to take shape, you need about 2 days.If the result was insufficient, repeat the procedure. If leatherette shoes, the procedure is not recommended. Due to hot water, the material may swell.
