Pisolitus dyeing - a description of where the toxicity of the fungus grows

Pisolitus dyeing - refers to the types of mushrooms Gasterometets (family of Lezhnodzhevikovyh). Another distribution of the name of this type of inedible fungi - pisolitus rootless. In Latin terminology, this species is designated under the name Pisolithus tinctorius.

Description

The fruit body of this type of mushroom as pizolitus is rather large, reaches 110–120 mm in diameter, and is up to 200 mm in height. The head of the young representatives of the species is spherical, as it grows, it transforms into a club-shaped. I would like to draw attention to the fact that the presented species of mushrooms has a pseudopod, whose length reaches 80 mm, in diameter - no more than 20-30 mm. The structure of the legs is quite dense, elastic, fibrous surface. In very young specimens of pizolitus, this part is extremely weak.

Places of growth

A few decades ago, such a species of mushrooms as a rootless pizolitus could surely be called a cosmopolitan due to its ubiquity (the exception is the region of the Arctic Circle). At present, mycologists are reviewing the species distribution area, which is explained by the fact that some subspecies of Pyzolitus are today defined as others, although related, but varieties. In our country, this type of mushroom is most often found in the Far East, in western Siberia and in the Caucasus.

The fruiting season of this species is from the beginning of summer to late autumn. Pisolitus rootless grows both in small groups and in single specimens. For its growth prefers more acidic, depleted soil, and on the soil, characterized by the presence of a large number of limestone rocks, this type of mushroom does not settle. Often found pizolitus on already overgrown with vegetation cuttings, on dumps, quarries, rarely - in deaf hardwood more often.

Edibility of the species

Although most fans of quiet hunting and consider this type of mushroom as pizolitus dyeing inedible, nevertheless, according to some sources it can be used in cooking without any health hazard. The main condition in this case is the collection of a mushroom crop consisting solely of young specimens.

Mature puzolitus in the territory of Southern Europe is usually used as a natural technical dye, from which, after a certain treatment, yellow paint is produced.

Special features

 Features of pisolitus dyeing
Due to the fact that the main place of growth of pisolitus dye are depleted soil, the latter has a fairly strong effect on the soil, which implies the restoration of its fertility, respectively, this type of fungus is of great importance especially in the field of ecology. Often, pyzolitus is planted specifically for the restoration of areas of soil affected by man-made disruptions / disasters.

Similar views

Due to the characteristic appearance of pyzolitus rootless, it is easy to distinguish from other species. This clearly indicates that this species has practically no similar representatives in the vast and diverse kingdom of fungi.

Benefit

Pisolitus dye is a mushroom that is also used for medical purposes. The composition of this type includes a certain biologically active substance called pisosterol, which is released from the fruiting body for the subsequent manufacture of drugs, the main task of which is to fight against cancer tumors.

Interesting Facts

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the value of the group of mushrooms belonging to gastaromycetes, which includes dye pyzolitus, is relatively small for humanity. A small part of the representatives of this kind can be used to prepare culinary dishes, however, their number is limited, as a rule, mainly they include species of the rainbow family.

Some types of gasterometsit are used in medicine: pizolitus - for the manufacture of drugs for oncological diseases and common goose - for such ailments as rheumatism and gout. Gleb of certain types of head muscles is an excellent styptic.

Today, the listed properties of the Gasteromecetes family are practically limited to this. In the future, the study of species related to pyzolitus as a source of biologically active substances and antibiotics, which are currently isolated only in some species of golovchakh, as well as in such a mushroom as the giant Langermania. That is, it suggests that such a species as pyzolitus and its varieties is a peculiar and little-studied group of fungi.
