By the mid-50s, the nursery staff had fully completed their task. That is, there was a breed group of representatives of the new breed. Moscow watchdogs should have shown aggression towards strangers, but to be very loyal and affectionate towards the owner. The result was a dog that behaves very good-naturedly among the members of the host family. But on the street among strangers, the dog behaves very menacingly, scaring everyone around only with his appearance and growl. No one wants to go to such a dog or its owner.

The nature of the Moscow watchdog

The representatives of this breed expressed guard qualities. These dogs are intelligent, good-natured to their owners, love to play. Their psyche is stable, but if they feel that something threatens the owner or his family, they instantly become aggressive.

These dogs are active, they need a place where they could run. But, if you want to start a Moscow guard, living in the city, then you can raise a dog so that she is accustomed to such conditions.

Fact! Outwardly, they resemble phlegmatic persons, although in reality this is not so. Moscow watchdogs are barking only when they really need it.

Bitches usually bark more than dogs, but they are smarter and easier to train. But both those and others are very clever, intelligent and cheerful. These properties for dogs are very important.

The disadvantage of Moscow watchdogs is their stubbornness and desire to be independent. But, if the owner persistently shows character, well trains the dog, then this feature can be significantly smoothed out. As a result, the dog will be very loyal.

Moscow watchdog suit serious, strong people. Do not turn them on to old people, teenagers, or those who are too soft. In this case, the dog may grow aggressive, as it will feel power even over its owner. It may also happen that a soft owner will grow a cowardly dog.

In time, you yourself will become afraid of her. Therefore, it is very important at the very beginning to show that it is you who are the main thing.

Even a puppy dog must understand what place it occupies. The command "no" should be carried out without question. Growing up in Moscow watchdogs takes quite a long time. Their psyche is formed before the age of 2-3 years. But you need to raise a puppy as soon as you have one.

If you need it for work purposes, then you need to hire a trainer who has the appropriate qualifications and experience. These dogs, though smart, are often stubborn. Therefore, for their training requires perseverance.

The owner must be authority for the dog. Otherwise, with such a big dog it would be dangerous to even go outside. She can attack someone, and you can't do anything about it. It is very important that you know how to immediately suppress the displayed aggressiveness. Moscow watchdogs may not even bark before attacking a stranger.
